The 22nd National Potato Days will be held on August 23, 2015 at the Wielkopolska Agricultural Advisory Center in Poznań – Education and Exhibition Center in Marszew near Pleszew (Marszew 25, 63-300 Pleszew).
National Potato Days is a specialist industry exhibition and trade fair event, as well as training. The event is addressed to farmers and companies in the agricultural and food sector related to the production and processing of potatoes.
In the educational part, training seminars, demonstration of potato varieties collection and professional consultations are planned.
The main goal of XXII KDZ is to support industry modernization processes, promotion of varieties, facilitation of contacts between market participants and integration of units of this agribusiness sector. Other goals of the undertaking:
- presentation of biological, technological and economic-organizational progress in potato production and use
- supporting the modernization processes of the potato industry;
- promotion of domestic potato varieties;
- facilitating contacts between market participants and their integration.
As part of the fair, there will be a competition for the culinary quality of potato varieties, and the best variety will be awarded the Cup of National Potato Days.
National Potato Days has been a cyclical event since 21 years, which probably is permanently inscribed in the calendar of trade fairs and exhibitions.
